Remember mom’s wise words when dealing with Alinsky-ites

Obama was weaned on radical Saul Alinsky’s ideas.  One of Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals is number 4, “Ridicule is a man’s most potent weapon.”  Conservatives are being targeted by Obama and his goon squad mercilessly.  This is their favorite method.  It is below-the-belt 99% of the time, and they don’t have to use rational argumentation in order to do it.

So, how does one deal with an organized force that collectively acts as bad as a kindergarten playground bully?  Well, you read this:

Defeating Political Ridicule by Kyle-Ann Shiver

Fascinating stuff.  Don’t take the bait.

  1. The suggested tactics are certainly the high road, but I’ve found that using their own methods against the Liberals works quite well also. It’s especially useful in areas where ridiculing them leads to their removal, through verbal, financial, of physical coercion, from the setting in question.

You find a Leftist, they ridicule you, you ridicule them in return, then – through direct action or through suborning others – you sabotage them and their efforts. Soon they are forced to leave and are effectively silenced.

If they later complain, you can respond with variation of the dismissal, “you’re only saying that because you..” – insert lost your job, got kicked of the team, didn’t get the loan, ect…

This is a war for our chidren’s future; we can’t allow our pride and our self-image to cause us to fight it with one hand tied behind our backs.

  2. Waiting for you to give us some great links for the Obama protests at Notre Dame!! Were people arrested? My wife feels like they did the right thing to protest . . . I’m more of a quiet respectful “he’s the president”-type, but everything seems so in-my-face right now that I think they did the right thing. Interesting times.

  3. Tim: I’ve been experiencing technical difficulties which are preventing me from regular posts!

    Working on the problem…

As far as the protests go, I believe that there are times when one must speak out. We’re talking about the slaughter of millions of babies, here. It’s the least we can do.

And does anyone detect the irony of an eighty-something Catholic priest, praying the rosary in protest of the abortion president receiving an honorary degree, being arrested and carried to jail AT A CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY?
