Robert Gibbs, Obama’s thin-skinned press secretary, came out and ridiculed Dick Cheney for being critical of the Obama administration. He was practically dripping with sarcasm, and I’m not sure about anyone else, but that doesn’t instill in me a great deal of respect for or confidence in the administration. First Rush Limbaugh, then Rick Santelli, then Jim Cramer, who’s next? Remember, no one can be critical of King Obama, who does no wrong.
Granted, Cheney is a man that people love to hate, not necessarily being a “lovable little fuzzball,” but the Obama White House seems to persist in their infantile reactions to normal and legitimate criticism. Combined with the number of F-bombs that are dropped around there, I’d almost swear that some of the guys from my high school class were in charge of the country.
But, read what Cheney said, and ask yourself, where is he wrong? He sounds quite reasonable, and instead of getting in return a reasoned, frank response that puts forth actual solid reasons for the policy changes, we get a sneering frat boy. Come on.
